PV Park SunriseScott's 7/27/10 Trail Report: Beautiful morning saw 5 deer, one buck in velvet. The trails are in pristine condition. We currently have 2 sections down for repairs and hope to get them both up before the end of August if not sooner. Temperature this AM was 64 degrees. Rex and I stopped for a couple minute break, birds singing and peaceful morning.

Pleasant Valley Park's 262 acres of woodlands, open fields, hilltops and remote valleys provide excellent areas for many outdoor activities year round. Anyone who enjoys being outdoors in a natural area, is likely to find something to like about Pleasant Valley Park.

Tree Destruction

The Hemlock Trail is closed until it can be rerouted due to high winds that blew down numerous large hemlocks.

On Arbor Day about 30 hemlock seedlings were planted in the same area.
