Pleasant Valley Trailbuilders

Created in 2011, Pleasant Valley Trailbuilders (PVT) is a group of bikers, hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to building new trails and maintaining the existing singletrack in Pleasant Valley Park. Former members of the Pleasant Valley Park Volunteers have joined forces with new team members to continue enhancing the park’s trail system.

New Trails for 2012!

PVT is currently working on two new trails located just outside the northeastern curve of Hank’s Trail. The proposed trails will create several loops that maximize the mileage between Hank’s and the nearby property line. Approval was obtained at the April 18th Murrysville Council Meeting to build two new trails out at the park. PVT started construction on May 3rd on the first of the two trails.

The Cheeky Chipmunk Trail was completed before the end of 2012.

Work continues in 2013 on the new Squirrelly Edge Trail and other normal trail maintenance.
